Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session on a mixed note, after the All-Share Market Index inched down 0.06%, while the Main and Premier indices grew 0.07% and 0.13%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value plunged 22.4% to KWD 14.21 million in the first session of the week, compared to KWD 18.32 million in the prior session, after the trading volume increased by 14.6% to 117.74 million shares from 102.76 million.
The oil and gas sector topped bourse’s five risers adding 0.93%.
Meanwhile, the technology sector headed the market’s six losers falling 16%.
By the end of the session, Al Khaleej Bank’s stock, which decreased by 0.77%, led the bourse in terms of liquidity with KWD 2.76 million, while Al Tijaria’s stock, which retreated 5%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 29.34 million shares.
