Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday in the green after the All-Share and the Main markets inched up 0.03% and 0.1%, respectively, while the Premier Market index remained unchanged.
By the end of the first session of this week, the bourse’s trading volume slid 15.4%, to 77.84 million shares, from 91.95 million on Thursday, while liquidity slumped 48.4% to KWD 11.24 million, compared to KWD 21.8 million.
The consumer services sector led risers after growing 0.34, while the basic materials sector was the worst performer after losing 1.3%.
Credit Rating and Collection’s (Tahssilat) stock topped gainers after jumping 7.73%, whereas Tijara and Real Estate Investment‘s (Tijara) stock was the worst performer after declining 8%.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which remained stable at 598 fils, led the market in terms of trading value after generating KWD 2.33 million, while Ahli United Bank’s (AUB Bahrain) stock, which closed unchanged at 209 fils, topped in terms of traded volume after 7.82 million shares were exchanged.
