Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Sunday’s trading session with a massive growth after the Premier Market index rose 0.25%, followed by the All-Share and Main markets with 0.24% and 0.21%, respectively.
The bourse’s trading volume fell to 122.24 million shares, from 151.63 million on Thursday, while liquidity slumped to KWD 25.21 million, against KWD 31.17 million.
The oil and gas sector led gainers with 2.26%, while the consumer services sector was the worst performer with 0.84%, followed by the industrials sector with 0.17%.
Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment’s (KMEFIC) stock was the best performer after jumping 11.11%, while the stock of Al Massaleh Real Estate led losers with 8.27%.
The Gulf Bank of Kuwait’s stock, which dipped 0.74%, led the bourse in terms of volume and value after 15.75 million shares were exchanged, generating KWD 4.28 million in a turnover.
