Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s session in the green zone for the fourth day in a row.
The All-Share Market index added 0.17% or 9.6 points to 5,583.8 points, while both the Premier and Main markets added 0.11% and 0.32%, respectively.
The disclosures of financial statements and generous dividends for fiscal year 2018 during March pushed the stock exchange of Kuwait to perform positively in the third month of 2019, capital market analyst Al Al Salamy told Mubasher.
The healthcare segment topped eight gainers with 1.2%, while the technology sector led the decliners with 19%.
Hilal Cement headed the winners with 10%, while Automats Systems led the losers with 19%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 16.1% to KWD 31.68 million on Thursday compared to KWD 27.28 million in the prior session, as the trading volume grew by 38.1% to 181.39 million shares from 131.37 million.
AUB Bahrain posted the highest turnover of KWD 4.67 million, the stock went up 1.1%.
Kuwait Real Estate was the most active stock on which 26.14 million shares were exchanged, the stock went up 0.66%.
