Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with positive performance after the All-Share Market Index increased by 1.21%, while the Main and Premier indices grew 0.18% and 1.6%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value jumped 58.1% to KWD 47.36 million on Thursday compared to KWD 29.96 million in the prior session, after the trading volume increased by 31% to 135.93 million shares from 103.74 million.
The banking sector topped the risers after adding 1.94%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector headed the decliners and fell 0.54%.
By the end of the session, Boubyan Bank’s stock, which inched down 0.885, led the bourse in terms of trading volume with 43.75 million shares, generating KWD 24.5 million in liquidity.
