Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait ended Thursday's trading session in the red, after the All-Share, the main, and the Premier Market indices fell 0.18%, 0.02%, and 0.28%, respectively.
The technology sector topped the bourse’s seven losers, falling 4.2%, while the oil and gas sector headed the market’s four risers adding 1.39%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased by 116.6% to KWD 18.45 million on Thursday from KWD 8.52 million in the previous session, while trading volume went up by 45.5% to 79.69 million shares from 54.79 million shares.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which rose 0.39%, led Boursa Kuwait in terms of liquidity with KWD 3.48 million, while the Gulf Bank of Kuwait’s (GBK) stock, which advanced 0.38%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 8.83 million shares.
