Boursa Kuwait ends Wednesday higher

Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Bourse Kuwait ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone.

The price index levelled up by 0.08% or 4.74 points to close at 5,672.49 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.21% and 0.11% respectively.

The real estate segment topped six gainers with 0.9%, in line with the rise of 14 shares led by Alargan International which grew by 6.02% to top the winners.

The telecom sector levelled up by 0.48%, on the back of Ooredoo which rose by 3.57%.

Meanwhile, the industrial sector led five decliners with 0.47%, dragged by Alafco that lost 4.1%.

Turnover increased to KWD 13.41 million, as trading volume grew to 160.44 million shares.

PetroGulf was the most active stock on which 17.45 million shares were exchanged.

NBK recorded the highest liquidity that stood at KWD 1.26 million.
