Boursa Kuwait ends Wednesday in green

Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait gained 0.27% or 16.05 points to reach 6,030.41 points at Wednesday’s close.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.53% and 0.58% respectively, in line with increasing purchases on blue chips.

Liquidity shrank to KWD 39.12 million, after trading volume decreased to 605.55 million shares.

The real estate segment topped eight gainers with 0.8%, on the back of Al Aqariya which rose by 8.93% to be the top winner.

The banks sector rose by 0.73%, in line with KFH, Burgan, and Boubyan which levelled up by 1.8%, 1.67%, and 1.25% respectively.

Meanwhile, the industrial sector led the decliners with 0.38%, dragged by Gulf Franchising Holding which lost 7% to be the top loser.

Al Mal was the most active stock on which 58.94 million shares were traded.

KFH recorded the highest trading value that reached KWD 4.31 million, with the stock falling by 2.2%.
