Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance after the All-Share and Premier markets rose 0.57% and 0.88%, respectively, whereas the Main Market index shed 0.27%.
The insurance sector topped the gainers with 1.95%, whereas the technology sector led the losers with 9.95%.
Al Ahleia Insurance headed the winners with 8.96%, whereas Amwal International Investment Company was the worst performer with 18.44%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity decreased by 28.5% to KWD 33.73 million from KWD 47.17 million, while trading volume tumbled 23.4%, reaching 113.36 million shares, compared to 147.98 million on Tuesday.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH), which increased by 1.02%, generated the highest liquidity with KWD 7.09 million, while National Industries Group Holding, which levelled up 3.48%, led the bourse in terms of traded volume after 15.1 million shares were exchanged.
