Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait retreated by 0.09% or 5.27 points to end Thursday’s trading session at 5,748.09 points.
Similarly, Kuwait-15 levelled down by 0.14%, while the weighted index gained 0.2%.
The telecom segment topped six gainers with 0.77% on the back of Ooredoo which rose by 3.45%.
The oil and gas sector gained 0.21%, in line with the 5.06% rise of Ikarus.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector led six decliners with 0.60%, dragged by Marakez which lost 8.62%.
The financial services sector retreated by 0.51%, headed by KMEFIC which dropped 6.3%.
Liquidity declined to KWD 18.27 million, as trading volume decreased to 168.96 million shares.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 17.57 million shares were traded.
Humansoft recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 3.38 million.
