Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.03% or 1.95 points to reach 6,783.42 points in the week ended 8 June.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 1.45% and 1.3%, respectively.
The market cap shrank 1.4% or KWD 400 million to total KWD 27.37 billion ($90.14 billion) this week from KWD 27.77 billion ($91.45 billion) in the prior week.
The trading volume decreased 37.79% to 185.98 million shares from 298.96 million a week ago.
The market’s liquidity declined 36.63% to KWD 34.53 million from KWD 54.49 million in the past week.
Boursa Kuwait’s transactions totalled about 8,200 this week, down 21.93% from around 10,500 in the previous week.
