Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Sunday’s trading session with a massive decrease, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets went down 0.2%, 0.03%, and 0.55%, respectively.
The Premier Market’s index rebounded from the support level 5,285 points, capital market analyst Ibrahim Al Filkawy told Mubasher.
He noted that the index will regain its previous peak at 5,475 points if it breaks the resistance 5,350 points.
The insurance segment led nine decliners with 1.4%, while the healthcare and industrial sectors were the only gainers with 1.02% and 0.01%, respectively.
KMEFIC was the top loser with a decline of 9.8%, while Al Massaleh Real Estate headed the winners with 9.8%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 37.1% to KWD 13.19 million on Sunday compared to KWD 20.96 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 35.6% to 85.54 million shares from 132.81 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 3.82 million, the stock went 0.73%.
Aayan Leasing was the most active stock on which 16.66 million shares were exchanged, the stock added 1.93%.
