Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading in the red territory as the All-Share and Premier market indices went down by 0.22% and 0.15%, respectively, and the Main and the BK 50 indices dropped by 0.42% and 0.6%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the turnover registered KWD 23.52 million, compared with KWD 22.83 million, posting a 3% daily rise. Traded volumes totalled 161.87 million shares, up by 6.7% from 151.69 million.
The banks sector led five fallers with 0.51%, whereas the basic materials instrument topped five risers with 2.11%.
Gulf Investment House (GIH) led the red zone with 9.69%, whereas Noor Financial Investment came on top of the green zone with 12.82%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) achieved the highest turnover of KWD 3.82 million, the stock was down 0.16%.
Gulf Petroleum Investment (PetroGulf) led the trading activity through the exchange of 26.68 million shares, the stock closed up 0.63%.
