Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait lost 0.72% or 49 points to reach 6,783.08 points by the end of February, compared to 6,832.22 points in the previous month.
The weighted index dropped 0.79% or 3.36 points to end February at 424.02 points from 472.38 points a month ago.
The Kuwait-15 index went down 2.16% to 964.08 points by February from 985.40 points by end-January.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity shrank 26.9% to KWD 866.43 million from KWD 1.19 billion a month ago.
Trading volume decreased by 36.1% to 8.86 billion shares from 13.86 billion in January.
Transactions totalled about 171,820 which came 25.2% lower than nearly 229,840 in the prior month.
The markect cap lost 1.15% or KWD 13.86 billion ($1.1 billion) to stand at KWD 29.102 billion ($94.97 billion) in February from KWD 29.44 billion ($96.07 billion) in January.
