Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a decline during the week ended on 16 August 2018 in line with a drop in the trading value.
The All-Share Market retreated 1.44% or 76.2 points to close this week at 5,204.62 points compared to 5,280.86 points in the previous week.
The Premier Market went down 1.36% or 74.3 points to 5,381.57 points from 5,455.85 points.
The Main Market retreated 1.37% or 68.2 points to 4,894.86 points from 4,963.1 points.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 44.3% this week to KWD 80.74 million this week compared to KWD 145.02 million in the past week.
The trading volume declined by 38.8% to 465.87 million shares from 761.08 million.
The number of transactions during the week decreased by 21.5% to about 23,340 from nearly 29,750.
