Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s session in decline for the second consecutive session, as the All-Share, Main, and Premier markets went down 0.8%, 0.71%, and 0.85%, respectively.
The industrial segment led eight decliners with 1.31%, while both the oil and gas and the basic materials sectors headed the gainers with 1.2% and 0.03%, respectively.
Markaz led the losers with 11.8%, while Bayan topped the winners with 11.4%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 26% to KWD 15.05 million on Monday compared to KWD 20.35 million in the prior session after the trading volume decreased by 17.3% to 98.22 million shares from 118.8 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 4.5 million, the stock retreated 1.33%.
Aayan Leasing was the most active stock on which 24.74 million shares were traded, the stock closed Monday at 39.4 fils.
