Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait rose 1.12% or 73.55 points to close Tuesday’s session at 6,638.77 points.
Similarily, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.47% and 0.75%, respectively.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 4.46%, backed by Marine Services and Burgan Drilling which rose 20% each to be the top winners.
Meanwhile, the consumer services segment was the only decliner with 0.59%, dragged by Eyas which dropped 8.62%.
The market’s turnover increased to KWD 9.79 million on Tuesday from KWD 8.48 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased to 45.45 million shares from 46.67 million.
AUB was the most active stock on which 4.88 million shares were exchanged, rising 0.97%.
Agility recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.47 million, falling 1.71%.
