Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session in the red after the Main Market index shed 0.41%, followed by the All-Share and Premier markets with 0.35% and 0.32%, respectively.
By 9:45 am Kuwait time, the bourse’s trading volume hit 39.13 million exchanged through 1,580 transactions at a turnover of KWD 10.47 million.
The oil and gas sector was the worst performer with 0.01%, while the banking sector topped risers with 0.09%.
Alrai Media Group’s stock led losers with 26.81%, while the stock of Kuwait Finance and Investment (KFIC) led gainers with 10.80%.
Ahli United Bank –Bahrain’s (AUB) stock, which inched up 0.81%, topped the bourse in terms of trading volume with 4.10 million exchange shares, while Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which added 0.71%, generated the highest liquidity with KWD 2.18 million.
