Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait opened Tuesday’s early trading session with a massive growth as the All-Share Market index inched up 0.05%, followed by the Main Market index with 0.01%, and the Premier Market index increased 0.06%.
By 9:30 Kuwait time, the industrial sector led gainers after growing 0.23%, followed by the financial services sector with 0.21%, while the telecommunications sector was the worst performer after falling 0.6%.
The bourse’s trading volume hit around 10 million shares exchanged through 555 transactions at a turnover of KWD 2.1 million.
Gulf Cement Company’s stock topped risers after jumping 8%, while Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipping Company’s (HEISCO) stock led losers with 7%.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which added 0.33%, topped the market in terms of traded value after generating KWD 667,040, while Aayan Leasing and Investment’s stock, which grew 0.8%, generated the highest trading volume after 2.5 million shares were exchanged.
