Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait’s indices ended Sunday in the green zone, as the price index ended Sunday’s trading session higher with 0.42% or 23.94 points to reach 5,700.16 points; the highest level in a year.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.80% and 1.22% respectively.
The industrial segment topped the gainers with 1% on the back of seven shares led by Equipment and Humansoft which rose by 9.09% and 4.5% respectively.
Meanwhile, the oil sector led four decliners with 1%, dragged by Marine Services which lost 7.35% to be the top loser.
The telecom segment also lost 0.06%, in line with the 1.79% fall of Ooredoo.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity shrank to KWD 13.24 million, while trading volume shrank to 162.04 million shares.
Al Salam Group was the most active stock on which 21.23 million shares were exchanged.
KFH recorded the highest trading value that reached KWD 2.29 million, rising 3.77% to close at 550 fils.
