Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait went up 0.31% or 21.18 points to reach 6,879.71 points by 9:40am Kuwait time on Monday.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose 0.25% and 0.40%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity stood at KWD 11.8 million, after 150.21 million shares were exchanged through about 2,200 transactions.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 1.22% on the back of IPG which gained 6.25%.
Meanwhile, the consumer services led decliners with 0.41%, dragged by Oula Fuel which lost 3.12%.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 32.6 million shares were traded, rising 3.17%.
Zain recorded the highest trading value that totalled KWD 1.8 million, up 2.22%.
