Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session 0.42% or 28.9 points higher at 6,926.32 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 1.35% and 2.38%, respectively.
The banks segment topped eight gainers with 1.1%, backed by the Kuwait Finance House (KFH) which rose by 5.76%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector led four decliners with 2.7%, dragged by Americana which lost 7.45%.
Al Mowasat HealthCare was the top winner with a rise of 20%, while First Takaful led losers with a drop of 7.6%.
Bourse Kuwait’s trading value increased by 42.5% to KWD 26.4 million on Sunday, hitting its highest level since April 2017.
The trading volume grew by 29.7% to 120.14 million shares compared to 92.66 million in the previous session.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 16.7 million shares were traded, rising 2.76%.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 4.7 million.
