Mubasher: The indices of Bourse Kuwait ended Tuesday’s session with a grouped rise, posting the fifth gain in a row on the back of the banks sector.
The price index went up 0.18% or 12.37 points, closing at 6,881.20 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.10% and 0.29%, respectively.
The market’s turnover decreased to KWD 33.7 million, after the trading volume shrank to 399.82 million shares.
The banks sector topped eight gainers with 0.15%, on the back of Warba which rose by 1.9%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas segment retreated by 1.73%, dragged by Burgan for Well Drilling which lost 4.30%.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 91.1 million shares were exchanged, falling 4.84%.
NBK recorded the highest trading volume of KWD 3.4 million, up 1.33%.
