Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait gained 0.10% or 6.78 points to end Wednesday’s session at 6,6797.18 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.32% and 0.49%, respectively.
The telecom sector topped six gainers with a rise of 1.72%, on the back of Ooredoo and Zain which gained 3.4% and 1.16%, respectively.
The banks segment edged up 0.5%, in line with the 2% growth of Ithmaar Holding.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector led five decliners with 1.53%, dragged by Wethaq which lost 8.77%.
Turnover decreased to KWD 38.6 million, after trading volume shrank to 436.9 million shares.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 45.7 million shares were traded, falling 4.55%.
Zain recorded the highest trading value of KWD 5.4 million, rising 1.16%.
