Kuwait - Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait on Sunday fell by 2.79% or 188.13 points to close at 6,564.66 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 2.45% and 2.5%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity grew to KWD 20.93 million from KWD 18.82 million in the previous session, and the trading volume increased to 162.69 million shares from 146.77 million.
The oil and gas segment led 11 decliners with 5.3%, dragged by Napesco which fell by 6.8%.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 17.04 million shares were exchanged, falling 4.26%.
KFH recorded the highest turnover of KWD 4.52 million, down 3.03%.
