Boursa Kuwait in red zone at Tuesday’s close

Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Tuesday’s trading session lower, as the price index levelled down by 0.20% or 13.5 points to close at 6,766.36 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait 15 indices retreated by 0.25% and 0.21%, respectively.

The consumer goods segment led eight decliners with 1.9%, dragged by Kuwait Cable Vision which dropped 26.3%.

The banks sector fell by 0.37%, as AUB lost 1.64%.

Meanwhile, the real estate sector went up by 1.55% on the back of REAM which was the top winner.

Liquidity increased to KWD 43.02 million after trading volume shrank to 372.59 million shares.

Al-Mudon was the most active stock on which 26.65 million shares were exchanged.

Agility recorded the highest trading value that totaled KWD 8.03 million; the stock retreated by 1.64%.

Boursa Kuwait may see further selling pressure in the coming three weeks, technical analyst Hassan Al-Kandry said.

The main index is moving in an upward trend between 6,342 and 7,110 points, he noted, adding that the price index is targeting the 6,980-point level.
