Kuwait – Mubasher: The indexes of Boursa Kuwait saw a bearish performance in June, with its market capitalisation falling by KWD 400 million ($1.32 billion).
The price index went down 0.33% or 22.62 points to reach 6,762.82 points. The weighted index also fell 1.3%, and the Kuwait-15 index levelled down 0.62%.
Market capitalisation reached KWD 27.26 billion ($89.66 billion) in June, compared to KWD 27.66 billion ($90.97 billion) in May.
Turnover amounted to KWD 144.1 million in June, down 52.1% from KWD 300.7 million in May. Trading volume reached 699.7 million shares exchanged through 30,700 transactions, compared to 2.7 billion shares traded through 75,400 transactions.
