Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait saw a positive performance in the week ended 1 June, with its price index rising 1.65% or 110.54 points to reach 6,813.19 points.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices also added 0.97% and 0.42%, respectively.
Market capitalisation reached KWD 27.77 billion ($91.24 billion) this week, compared to KWD 27.59 billion ($90.65 billion) last week.
Trading volume reached 298.96 million shares this week, compared to 322.02 million shares a week earlier. Turnover amounted to KWD 54.5 million, compared to KWD 40.3 million.
The market saw 10,520 transactions this week, compared to 100,560 last week.
