Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s session in the green zone; the price index gained 0.21% or 13.66 points to close at 6,635.96 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.35% and 0.46%, respectively.
The real estate sector topped six gainers with 1.4%, backed by Real Estate Asset Management (REAM) which rose by 20% to be the top winner.
The telecom segment edged up 0.8%, in line with the rise of all listed stocks, namely Zain.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector led five decliners with 0.25%, dragged by nine shares that were led by Kuwait Company for Process Plant Construction and Contracting (KCPC) which retreated 8.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased by 24% to KWD 17 million on Monday compared to KWD 13.72 million in the previous session, after the trading volume shrank by 17.6% to total 67.97 million shares compared to 82.44 million.
Zain recorded the highest turnover of KWD 3.14 million.
