Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s session in the green zone; the price index went up 1.21% or 74.6 points to 6,250.67 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.9% and 0.73%, respectively.
The industrial sector topped seven gainers with 2.1%, backed by National Cleaning which added 13.04%.
The financial services segment rose by 1.5%, in line with the 9.2% growth of Arzan.
Telecom companies grew by 1.12%, endorsed by the 2.27% rise of Zain.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector led three decliners with 1.8%, dragged by Gulf Insurance which dropped 20% to be the top loser.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover retreated to KWD 13.48 million on Monday compared to KWD 13.49 million in the previous session, while the trading volume increased by 3.8% to 84.59 million shares from 81.51 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 3.28 million, rising 0.74%.
Investors was the most active stock on which 9.91 million shares were exchanged, up 5.9%.
