Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait deepened its losses for the fourth session in a row, closing Monday 0.72% or 47.3 points lower at 6,565.22 points.
Similarly, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went down 1.43%, respectively.
The consumer goods segment led seven decliners with 4.55%, dragged by Americana which lost 6.12% to reach the lowest level in a year.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped gainers with 4.5%, on the back of Napesco which rose 15.01%.
The market’s liquidity shrank to KWD 8.48 million on Monday from KWD 9.38 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased to 46.67 million shares from 48.5 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 6.12 million shares were traded, rising 1.28%.
KFH recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.48 million, falling 1.04%.
