Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session 0.34% or 22.96 points lower at 6,830.13 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.54% and 0.8%, respectively.
The consumer goods segment led decliners with 2%, dragged by Eyas which lost 5.34%.
The financial services sector retreated 0.93%, in line with the 19.83% drop of Amwal which was the top loser.
Meanwhile, the banks segment topped six gainers with 0.3%, backed by Warba which levelled up 1.59%.
The market’s trading value grew to KWD 16.70 million on Monday from KWD 12.20 million in the previous session, as the trading session increased to 75.43 million shares from 45.48 million.
Al Ithmar was the most active stock on which 11.83 million shares were traded, rising 0.21%.
NBK recorded the highest trading value of KWD 4.58 million.
