Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait gained 0.42% or 29.1 points to close at 6,914.27 points on Sunday.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.21% and 0.76%, respectively.
The technology segment topped seven gainers with a rise of 2.46%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led four decliners with 0.93%, dragged by Zain which lost 1.2%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased 0.4% to KWD 13.4 million on Sunday from KWD 13.35 million in the previous session, as the trading volume grew 6% to 74.5 million shares from 70.26 million.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 2.87 million.
AUB – Bahrain was the most active stock on which 8.59 million shares were traded, rising 0.46%.
