Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session 0.43% or 288.88 points lower at 6,754.54 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.57% and 0.72%, respectively.
The market’s liquidity increased to KWD 5.79 million from KWD 5.27 million in the previous session, and the trading volume shrank to 23.43 million shares from 25.53 million.
The industrial segment led decliners with 1.14%, dragged by UPAC which lost 10.84%.
Meanwhile, the technology sector topped three gainers with 5.9%, backed by Automated Systems which levelled up 19.91%.
Al-Aqaria led losers with a fall of 11.43%, while Gulf Franchising topped gainers with 19.94%.
Gulf Franchising was the most active stock on which 2.3 million shares were exchanged.
KFH recorded the highest trading value of about KWD 983,600.
