Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session 0.2% or 13.7 points lower at 6,811.99 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.09% or 0.08%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s main index is facing resistance at 6,860 points and 6,903 points, respectively, while its support lies at 6,771 points and 6,725 points, respectively, technical capital market analyst Ibrahim Al-Filkawy said.
At the weighted index’s level, it witnessed a sideways performance with a volatility range of six points, a resistance at 418 points and 421 points, respectively, while its support lies at 412 points and 409 points, respectively, Al-Filkawy added.
He noted that the Kuwait-15 index has resistance at 956 points and 962 points, respectively, while its support level lies at 943 points and 936 points, respectively.
The technology and industrial sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 1.2% and 0.23%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the financial services segment led eight decliners with a fall of 0.54%, dragged by Markaz which lost 17.4% to be the top loser.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased to KWD 6.97 million on Sunday from KWD 6.92 million in the previous session, after 47.75 million shares were traded compared to 51.11 million.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.07 million, rising 0.93%.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 5.58 million shares were exchanged, falling by 6.61%.
