Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s session with a mixed performance.
The benchmark price index gained 0.26% or 16.99 points to close at 6,650.06 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.02% and 0.27%, respectively.
The consumer services sector endorsed the stock market among five gainers with a rise of 1.67%, backed by Kuwait Cinema which added 11.67% to be the top winner.
The banks segment edged up 0.02% in line with the 0.49% rise of AUB.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector led three decliners with 0.03%, dragged by Tijara which lost 6.45%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank to KWD 6.51 million on Sunday compared to KWD 13.58 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased to 57.83 million shares from 76.8 million.
Investors was the most active stock on which 5.08 million shares were traded, falling 0.50%.
Al Imtiaz recorded the highest liquidity of about KWD 634,780.
