Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait close Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance for the third session in a row.
The All-Share and Main markets edged down 0.07% and 0.57%, respectively, while the Premier Market added 0.19%.
The consumer services segment led six decliners with 0.72%, while the oil and gas sector topped five gainers with 2%.
The Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK) was the top loser with a drop of 6.9%, while Process Plant Construction (KCPC) headed the winners with 9.8%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 8.4% to KWD 20.32 million on Sunday compared with KWD 22.18 million in the prior session after the trading volume decreased by 4.3% to 91.6 million shares from 87.8 million.
KIB was the most active stock on which 16.6 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 4.21 million, the stock rose by 3.64% to close at 256 fils which is the highest level in almost ten months.
