Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session 0.46% or 31.24 points higher at 6,810.68 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.32% and 0.31%, respectively.
The market’s turnover grew to KWD 9.48 million on Thursday from KWD 6.32 million in the previous session, as the trading volume increased to 46.46 million shares from 37.27 million.
KIB was the most active stock on which 4.4 million shares were traded, rising 0.4%.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.87 million, up 0.42%.
The industrial sector topped eight gainers with 1.5%, backed by National Industries which gained 11.76%.
Meanwhile, the technology segment led decliners with 4.84%, dragged by Automated Systems which lost 14.29% to be the top loser.
