Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s session with a mixed performance; the price index levelled down 0.53% or 36.28 points to close at 6,783.42 points, the weighted index lost 0.05%, while the Kuwait-15 index gained 0.44%.
The consumer services segment led eight decliners with 1.2%, dragged by Muntazahat which lost 6.44%.
Meanwhile, the banks sector topped three gainers with 0.13%, on the back of NBK which rose 1.5%.
The market’s trading value decreased to KWD 5.27 million from KWD 6.66 million in the previous session, while the trading volume shrank to 25.53 million shares from 32.09 million.
Gulf Franchising was the most active stock on which 3.24 million shares were traded.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity of about KWD 922,000.
