Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday 0.14% or 9.20 points higher at 6,680.13 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.36% and 0.28%, respectively.
The real estate segment topped five gainers with 1.14%, on the back of REAM which rose 12.9% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led decliners with 3.01%, dragged by Ooredoo which lost 8.2%.
The market’s liquidity shrank to KWD 8.41 million on Thursday from KWD 10.33 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased to 47.5 million shares from 54.45 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 7.07 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 1.13 million, rising 1.26%.
