Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session, the first day after the Eid Al Adha holiday, in the green zone.
The price index gained 0.41% or 28.46 points to reach 6,920.56 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.38% and 0.73%, respectively.
The oil and gas segment topped seven gainers with 1.02%, backed by Napesco which rose by 2.26%.
The banks sector rose by 0.66%, endorsed by Boubyan Bank which levelled up 4.4% to close at 376 fils - the stock's highest level in 21 months.
Meanwhile, the industrial segment led four decliners with 0.04%, dragged by National International Holding which lost 10.05%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased to KWD 18.29 million on Tuesday compared to KWD 16.86 million in the previous session, as trading volume grew to 87.23 million shares from 84.74 million.
AUB was the most active stock on which 12.05 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 2.76 million, rising 1.8%.
