Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s session mixed; the price index fell by 0.03% or 2.07 points to close at 6,801.13 points, while both the weighted and the Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.17% and 0.28%, respectively.
The market’s turnover shrank to KWD 5.4 million from KWD 8.82 million, after the trading volume decreased to 30.52 million shares from 48.63 million in the previous session.
Al Salam was the most active stock on which 3.55 million shares were traded, rising 4.28%.
Agility recorded the highest liquidity of about KWD 992,500.
The oil and gas segment led five decliners with 3.94%, dragged by Napesco which fell by 6.8%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped four gainers with 1.55%, on the back of REAM which gained 19.4% to be the top winner.
