Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session 0.68% or 46.8 points lower at 6,783.38 points.
The weighted index also lost 0.03%, while the Kuwait-15 index gained 0.32%.
The consumer services segment led seven decliners with 7.85%, dragged by Eyas which lost 20%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector topped four gainers with 0.58%, on the back of Livestock which grew 2.73%.
The market’s trading value shrank to KWD 12.33 million on Tuesday from KWD 16.70 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased to 46.98 million shares from 75.43 million.
NREC was the most active stock on which 4.33 million shares were exchanged, falling 1.72%.
Agility recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 3.51 million, up 1.81%.
