Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session 0.15% or 9.7 points lower at 6,664.82 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.42% and 0.43%, respectively.
The insurance segment topped gainers with a rise of 1.4%, followed by the financial services which edged up 0.6% as it was backed by KAMCO which rose by 9.9% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector led decliners with 1.52%, dragged by Nafais which dropped 19.9% to be the top loser.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value grew by 38.2% to KWD 28.71 million shares on Tuesday from KWD 20.78 million on Monday, after the trading volume increased by 33.7% to 162.07 million shares from 121.22 million.
Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) was the most active stock on which 21.95 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 5.46 million, rising 1.63%.
