Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s session 0.71% or 44.65 points lower at 6,210.02 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.28% and 0.22%, respectively.
The industrial segment led eight decliners with 2.2%, dragged by Nafais Holding which retreated 19.88%.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector topped gainers with 1.2%, backed by Alrai Media which rose 8.6%.
Afaq was the top winner with a jump of 20%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity shrank by 61.4% to KWD 6.36 million on Tuesday compared to KWD 16.48 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased by 51.8% to 36.97 million shares from 76.64 million.
Zain recorded the highest turnover of KWD 1.5 million, closing at 445 fils.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 4.85 million shares were exchanged, rising 2.4%.
