Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s session 0.11% or 7.35 points lower at 6,892.1 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.41% and 0.68%, respectively.
The insurance segment led seven decliners with 1.22%, while the technology sector topped four gainers with 1.25%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity gained 4.8% to KWD 16.86 million on Wednesday compared to KWD 16.09 million on Tuesday, as the trading volume decreased by 1.5% to 84.74 million shares from 86 million.
Zain recorded the highest turnover of KWD 2.52 million, falling 0.8%.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 12.73 million shares were traded, up 0.57%.
