Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s session lower; the price index edged down by 0.62% or 42.02 points to reach 6,702.65 points, the weighted index levelled down by 0.43%, and the Kuwait-15 index lost 0.29%.
The market’s turnover increased to KWD 7.93 million from KWD 6.36 million in the previous session, and the trading volume grew to 63.18 million shares from 46.04 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 11.94 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.85 million, rising 0.56%.
The oil and gas segment led eight decliners with 1.61%, dragged by IPG which lost 9.9%.
The industrial sector retreated 1.56%, in line with Gulf Franchising which plunged 19.89% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the consumer services sector topped three gainers with 2.31%, on the back of Future Kid which gained 16%.
