Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait saw a bearish performance in the week ended 2 February 2017.
The price index levelled down 0.13% or 8.77 points to close at 6,843.53 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices declined 0.72% and 3.07% respectively.
Trading volume decreased 28.91% to 3.10 billion shares this week, compared to 4.37 billion shares last week. Turnover fell 23.09% to KWD 299.43 million, compared to KWD 389.34 million.
Market capitalisation reached KWD 29.28 billion ($96.6 billion) this week, compared to KWD 29.51 billion ($96.61 billion) last week.
