Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait edged down 0.14% or 9.68 points to reach 6,824.49 points by the end of Thursday’s trading session.
Kuwait-15 index levelled up by 0.02%, while the weighted index fell by 0.04%.
Liquidity shrank to KWD 57.38 million, after trading volume decreased to 587.05 million shares.
The oil and gas segment topped nine gainers with 0.7%; the banks sector rose by 0.37% on the back of KIB and KFH which rose by 4.35% and 1.6% respectively.
Meanwhile, the basic materials sector led the decliners with 0.49%, dragged by Kuwait Foundry which lost 4.5%.
Al Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 43.83 million shares were exchanged.
Warba Bank recorded the highest trading value that totaled KWD 6.24 million.
