Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait gained 0.46% or 30.86 points to end Sunday at 6,742.02 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.44% and 1.05%, respectively.
The market’s turnover shrank to KWD 31.53 million when compared to the previous session, and trading volume decreased to 422.19 million shares.
The financial services segment topped six gainers with 1.27%, on the back of Amwal which rose by 9.43% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas segment led five decliners with 0.61%, dragged by IPG which lost 2.35%.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 69.3 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 3.47 million, rising 1.01%.
